Susie helped me to redecorate my home and I am pleased beyond belief. She listened to my opinions and understood my hesitations without ever trying to sway me in any one particular direction. She was respectful of my input even though it was different from hers. Most importantly, Susie had helped me understand design concepts and by having this new insight cannot emphasize enough all that she has done for me. I love my new living space. Again, Susie listened to my concerns and I used all my older furniture and her ability to accessorize gives the entire rooms an entirely different look. In the summer of 2022 I was referred to Susie Chusid.  Two months prior to the introduction, my mom had passed away and was at an all-time low.  I had expressed to my therapist that I needed a total refresh of my home and also needed help organizing my house and my life.  He gave a strong recommendation to Susie and said she will definitely change your life.  Susie’s name did not ring a bell, but I reached out to her and made an appointment for the following week.  Susie showed up at my house and within 5 minutes of the meeting, I realized she looked extremely familiar.  I asked her what her maiden name was and she told me and asked why?  I said, “You were my camp counselor my year (1978) at Camp Pontiac!”.  It was meant to be!  Susie was a gift that keeps on giving.  She has spent the past 18 months refreshing my house one room at a time.  My house looks incredible and feels so new.  She and her colleague, Sue, have organized closets for me and have created a new system.  Susie is a pleasure to work with, has amazing taste, top notch contractors working with her, and works within your budget.  I cannot recommend her enough.  She is a gem!! - Debbie, Short Hills

After my first phone call with Susie, I had the distinct feeling that she was the perfect choice to help me update and transform my home. I had slowly been getting rid of the old and updating my furniture but had a long way to go to make my home look fresh and contemporary. With my first appointment, I went through a very detailed and ambitious checklist of what I was hoping to achieve in five separate rooms. Over the course of a year and a half, Susie helped me choose a few pieces of furniture at varying price points. She worked with me to bring in updated lighting, rugs, window treatments and accessories such as mirrors and artwork. At times, I even stumbled on something from HomeGoods and she was kind enough to look at a picture and give me her honest opinion on whether it was a workable. Overall, Susie was an absolute pleasure to work and with her talent I was able to finally achieve the beautiful and  contemporary look I was after.  Long story short, my house recently went on the market and sold in a weekend.
